Engine was “gone through” by a marine shop last fall. Launched 1st time yesterday.

Hard start but got it running
Out in open water, ran about 5 min at 3/4 throttle, started loosing rpm and over about a minute, the motor would not run at more the a high idle in gear. It revs up using disengaged throttle.
Ideas?
