1991 Rinker Captiva

I took boat out a few weeks ago and it ran great. Worked on it today and the starter will click you can hear solenoid but it will not turn over. Thought it was battery so tried 4 different ones with same result. Can anyone help

what solenoid is clicking , starter or slave? A click or more of a clunk?
battery cable ends ? pull the spark plugs checking for water in the cylinders if "clunking"
