i have a 91 mercruiser 3.0 i bought a couple years ago since i bought it the impeller went out and in turn over heated and blew the head gasket. i repaired the head gasket issue and to the boat out and it ran great for half the day and it blew the manifold gasket out on an exhaust port and got really noisy but still ran good. it was late in boating season so i just winterized it and left it until this spring. when i remove the manifold and did a visual inspection of the head and the manifold mounting surfaces i did not find anything wrong. cleaned surfaces and installed a new manifold gasket and riser elbow gasket. when started up i let it run for about 5 minutes. noticed it sounded noisy then. retorqued bolts to recomended torque and refired. still noisy and the longer it ran the worse it got. removed manifold again to find gasket blown in the same spot as before. any help on this would be greatly appreciated thanks joe

Ayuh,.... Put a straight edge against the area, 'n see if it's erroded,....

The over-heat mighta torque something outa place,...
