fired up my boat motor this week, it started ok, but after a few minutes, I noticed water coming out where the powerhead sits on the
center section. the coolant water had some oil in it;. The oil I cleaned off the outside of the motor assy was light green like the gear oil I use.
The engine oil I use (Evinrude 2-stroke oil) is purple in color.
Can cooling water from the water pump fill up the gearcase and center section and leak out below thw powerhead?
If the cyl block was cracked, would it still run?
There are a pair of coolant tubes (rubbr) that were replaced a few yrs back, but when they leaked then I dont think it leaked out
where it does now......
