"Is there an optional voltage regulator that I can use to solve my over-charging problem? It reached 18Vdc on the lake last week, & I did not run it that far. How about a regulator from a Merc, or Yami? The battery is new grp 27, and is not a maintenance free type.

I would have installed 0505001 regulator that came as standard later to avoid that kind of problems.(ref BRP catalog 2000/70 hp)"
