1991 120 hp Force lower unit

Hi all I am new to the forum and appreciate all input..I have a 120 Force 1991 that the shift rod was removed from and I have no idea how it goes back in, so I am hoping for suggestions. Thanks

Removed? How? Removed the shift pin?If the pin is out and you moved anything then the unit need dissasemblly.J
