Hi All, I hope someone can help.
I have a vintage Mariner 6hp that I purchased last year, and quickly discovered (after purchase of course) that the leg was always locked down once on the boat. I can manually unlock it if I unhook the lock, but I can't see how this is supposed to work normally to just lock the engine down when in reverse. I think there may well be a part missing somewhere..?
Can anyone shed some light on this at all (I've looked at a bunch of exploded diagrams, but its v. hard to work out the engine and what I haven't got)
Many thanks in advance,
Matt
