I am in contact with a guy who claims he has a genuine workshop manual for 90HP motor from 1992. Does anyone know if the models changed much between 1990 and 1992 please?

"Part number suggests 1993, not 1992. So the question remains, however I guess I need to know if there were many changes between a 1990 and 1993 model 90 HP Johnson engine please - other than cosmetic?"
 
"If it's the classic 90deg

"If it's the classic 90deg Cross flow V4, not much changed on that motor for it's last 20 years of production. The ignition should be the same, Carbs may have changed slightly over the years, but same principles. The only thing that I'm aware of over the years is a few different configurations of the throttle/timing linkage. It may make a link n sync a little tricky. The numerical values for timing should be the same, but the procedure of setting it up is completely different for each of the configurations."
