I ran my boat today and it ran great until I went to full throttle. After about 30 seconds it would fall on its face like it was starving. I'm thinking change out the fuel filter and get some fresh gas. Am I on the right track? Also after running for an hour or so the idle is a bit low. Could this be part of the same problem?

replaced fuel/water separator (very dirty--sandy looking stuff) and also replaced inline filter. Ill try to run it again over the week end and see if that fixed it.

Think I'd pull the drains on the carb bowls and flush some fuel through. Might have some crud bouncin around in there.
