I have recently purchased this motor. I started it in a barrel and it started hard but started. Took it to the lake and again it started hard, but started again. At that time I noticed it was running on 1 cylinder. I kept it running for about 5 minutes and the other cylinder fired once, then again and then again. It did this several times then it fired more regular and it improved to where the other cylinder was firing as it should. It ran well for about 20 seconds and then dropped off to one cylinder again. It then stalled. I got it running again and pretty much the same thing happened again. I took the hood off and found that if I pumped the throttle it would help the 2nd cylinder fire. This pattern happened about 4 or 5 times and then it got to the point that it would not start. After I got it home, I pulled the carb and cleaned it. Put it back on and will still not start. Plenty of spark on both spark plugs. When I pulled the plugs they were wet. I blew the plugs off with pressurized air, put them back in tried to start it and then pulled the plugs again and they were both wet again. Occasionally it will fire but not run. When I had it on the lake and it ran well, IT RAN WELL. Just not very long. Any help would be appreciated.
