"Help please. I purchased the above motor in what I thought was excellent condition. The motor started fine, the first time and ran well. The motor took a few extra pulls the second time (a week or so later) and ran. The motor took multiple pulls the third time and ran rough. Now the motor doesn't start at all. The motor was stored outside on a sailboat. What I've tried: Gas is full and vent is open. Gas shut-off is open. Changed the spark plug - no change. Set the choke and the throttle in multiple ways - no change. I do notice that there is a short, small tube that hangs from and just below the motor. It is of a very small diameter, but I don't know why it's there. I can't find the carborator (without motor disassembly). Any ideas on what I can do to start this motor? THANKS."
