1990 Johnson 48 spl

Motor starts and idles fine. As soon as I take it out it may run 10 minutes up to 15 minutes and dies on me. Can not seem to get motor restarted until it cools down.

??------Has the waterpump been looked at?---------Have you tested the overheat horn.-------Is the tell tale working properly ?
