"I have a 1990 150 johnson tha

"I have a 1990 150 johnson that is very hard to start, it takes sometimes 6 or 7 starts to keep running.I have to pump the bulb several times after it starts, will start ok after warm up but sometimes still have to pump bulb, carbs have been rebuilt, vro oil injection is disconnected.
Any help appreciated"

"make sure the primer system,is operating properly,..all hose clean/clear...u should not have to pump the primer bulb,after started,if u have to pump it to keep running,u have a bad fuel pump,clogged pulse limiter,etc.clogged filters,etc..."

"Beg, borrow, or steal a nice new 6 gallon fuel can, and a new hose/ bulb assembly. Connect that directly to your engine and see if your problems go away. You could have old connectors leaking air, fuel lines collapsed internally, lots of issues. The test tank and line will save you alot of headaches."
