"Hi guys, I'm trying to locate the lower gear ratio for the above motor. I'm in the market for a new prop and was wondering how pitch will effect overall speed. I found an online calculator, but I need the gear ratio to work it.

"2:1,????? 2 rotations of the flywheel = 1 rotation of the prop? Is that what you are describing. I believe I should be after a decimal number for the gear in the lower leg. For instance 2.42 or 1.83, I have seen those numbers listed on charts for outboards, and that is what I was after. However, if my number is 2.10, then thanks for the help.
