hi everyone....i got a little boat last summer with a solid evinrude engine. the boat had not been used for years and the engine must have not been started for more than 15 years. i connected a battery and the outboarder started after three or four attempts. i was surprised that it was running even on the very old fuel. i did not try to go on higher rpms since the engine was not being cooled in a barrel or so. a few days later i put a new tank with fresh fuel and a new fuelpipe. i droppet the boat in the sea...started the engine and waited to see if everything would be ok. it sounded grear...was a bit smokey...water was coming out strongly from the "peehole". so i went for a ride. slowly i pushed up the throttle....and when i wanted to go faster ...the engine started "stalling". i'm not sure if stalling is the right expressen for tha what hapens...and thatfor i filmed the problem and uploaded it on youtube for you or anyone to see and understand what i am thalking about. the strange thing is that after having a slow rpm ride for about an hour, i stopped and switched the engine off. a couple of minutes later i turned it on and continued my ride. but this time it was not stallin....it ran smoothly in all rpm ranges...exactly as i expected a 30hp engine to run. for the rest of the day everything was functioning perfectly. a week later same story.....first hour with stalling....later on perfectly running. another week later ....stalling stalling stalling....! i checked the spark plugs...they are working and look like new. i took the carburator out and dissasembled it in order to clean it. it was clean. i put everything back together as it was before and hoped it woul run fine again. but nothing changed. still stalling. if someone knows the solution to my problem...it will be very apreciated. thanks in advance...philipp here is the link to my video : https://youtu.be/ZaOq8OtSiK0
