Thanks for your post. Sorry I wasn't clear. My dad needs to know the motor's settings. We bought our boat and motor used and we never got a manual. Recently, after the boat/motor was not used in almost a year, my dad got the motor running. When we took the boat to the lake, the motor would not run in gear. It idles in nuetral fine but try and put it in gear and it dies. If Dad had the settings, he could use his timing light and get it going. Thanks for your help."
