I have a rebuilt 1990 evinrude

I have a rebuilt 1990 evinrude 100hp it runs fine when first starting after a while it will sputter then regain power quickly. it does not die out it just seems to go up and down rather quickly. Whether wide open or at idle. ive had a few suggestion but some more info could not hurt thanks

look thru motor it had wrong p

look thru motor it had wrong plugs in it from previous owner (lawn mower plugs) replace seemed to be running just fine i hope that was it?? but will keep eye out for further sputter thank you
