Having a terrible time trying to time this thing. 30BTDC yes. But need to get(pull)started first. I had to replace the tiller throttle cable and is slightly different than the last(due to availability). I believe the last one had more threads on the barrel is all. So my problem may lie here.
I have also messed with the slide wire with barrel lock under the flywheel so....
I see 2 embolded point/marks on the plastic fin that follows the timer base. Do I line the actuator/throttle cam up in between or on these?
I like Johnson, just haven't worked on too many. With some ether this will start and run horribly (misfires etc..)for a few seconds (really hate to do that too as I know ether is bad). But seemed to runn fine before I messed with the thr cable and eventually the timing. Anyone have the correct timing procedure/sync/link handy??
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
