1990 DT140 slows down and cuts out when opened up

"I have a suzuki DT140. my engine starts and runs fine, but after around 15 minutes when I open the throttle, it starts to lag and then cut out. After around 15 minutes it will be fine again until I opem the throttle and it starts to warm up. It will continue to run fine on tick over. I have replaces the water pump, gasgets, impeller, impeller key etc, put a new fuel pump kit on, but staill cant pin point the problem. It only seems to do it when I take it out on the water. I dont know if it is a fuel proble, mix problem or heat problem.

Any help would be real great.

"Fuel flow problem. Check for

"Fuel flow problem. Check for a clogged screen in the fuel tank pick up tube. I had the same situation on a Grady White and the finger like screen in the pick up tube was 99.9% clogged. There was no problem at idle but as soon as you gunned it, fuel starvation in about 30-45 seconds. Cleaned the screen & no more problem. Maybe you will be that lucky too."
