1990 Cobra TKO may need a new cylinder head

"The previous owner rebuilt th

"The previous owner rebuilt the motor (2.3L OHC)and must have dropped something into the #4 cylinder. Needless to say, needs a new piston & rod, may need the head re-decked. It got beat up a bit. I'm going to do a leak down test on the head to see if the valves are OK. If redecking is needed, how much can I risk taking off? Does someone know of, or have a used or rebuilt head for sale just in case?

I would think any local rebuil

I would think any local rebuilder would have 2.3L Ford cylinder heads in stock. Just phone around with the casting number. Deal locally. It would cost $100+ for shipping.
