1990 60 hp johnson

I need help to find out about my johnson 1990 60hp its been sitting fo a while because i got hurt at work long story short cleaned out old gac cleaned carbs new plugs etc.runs good at first but i have blue smoke and oil coming out of lower unit is this the waterpump gone bad or something else thanks for any help on a budget trying to fix my self

If you are running on a hose you will see oil coming out the prop and that is normal.-----------There was cooling system modification done on those motors , per a factory service bulletin.------Has that been done ???

I think i found problem after removing cover on front of carbs i found one of screws bottom of carb was out middle car screw was lose thinl gas and oil leaking out cause it to smoke etc?? Good thing i took off lower unit water pump is in bad shape going to replace do you think thats my problem with smoke and oil coming out of prop???

Well, smoke and some oil coming out the prop ( running on a hose ) is very normal !!
