Still trying to find out why the engine is sputtering and backfiring. Pulled flywheel..is there suppose to be a space between the magnets? They are all together except one space about 3-4 inches..is this right? Nothing in manual covering it. Stator is rusty...will sand and clear contacts. Any help will get me up and running...hopefully.
