"Hello. Maybe you can help me. I have a 1989 Johnson 88 SPL that I just had serviced and it is losing power and I cannot get over 2500-3000 RPM. At first it runs good and the boat gets up on plane, but then almost dies. It has a new fuel filter. It is running on all 4 cylinders, i checked the wire connections. I really dont know much about these motors, so I was wondering if someone had any idea what it may be. thanks and have a great day."
