I recently purchased a 1989 ozark v-174 with a 1989 mariner 115 inline 6. my question is to anyone who might have some insight on the reliability of the autoblend oil injection systems? the guy i bought the boat from says he`s never had a bit of trouble with it since he bought the boat new in 89. it`s now 2006 should i worry. but i`ve seen other horror stories about the autoblend online. i`ve had the boat out once already and it seems to be fine. i marked the oil tank before going out and it is using the oil like it`s supposed to be. motor runs strong 2 adults and 3 children in a 17 foot boat with a 115 was doing 45mph with the motor trimmed out right.
