1989 Johnson GT150 missing until it warms up

I have a 1989 Johnson GT 150 t

I have a 1989 Johnson GT 150 that has a miss in it until it warms up. It idles great but if you throttle it up cold it misses until it gets warm. Once warm it runs like a champ. Any suggestions?

"I suspect that the engine isn't really missing as say an ignition miss but rather running slightly lean due to a slightly clogged slow speed passageway OR a idle air bleed that's slightly too large.

Should this be the case, with the carburetor face plate removed and the engine running cold and spitting back (if this is the case), stick two fingers into the carburetor throat(s). If (when) the engine smooths out, you've found the offending carburetor."
