1989 johnson 8hp crankcase

332099 — TUBE, C'CASE DRAIN, 1 1/4" (33MM) LONG
334797 — TUBE, C'CASE DRAIN, 1 5/8"(42MM) LONG

Need information regarding installing and the function of the above parts
shown on crankcase exploded view

They are restrictors for crankcase oil recirculation.----------They just slide in those holes.----Simple.----Crankcase oil recirculation is found on most 2 strokes.----For some reason 2 stroke lubrication is not well understood !

I suspected as much but was unsure
What was bothering me was the very loose fit in the hole
Nothing much to keep them in place
