" I have water spitting out of what I believe is a thermostat housing on my 89' Johnson 150 V6/OB. It is enough that it's running down the housing to the lower unit. Any ideas, or is this normal? It is a small triangle shaped housing with some sort of hole just above the top cylinder on both sides, only one seems to have this issue. "

" The diaphram is no longer seated. Remove that housing and the diaphram. If the metal surfaces are okay where the diaphram seats, install a new diaphram, applying a slight bit of sealer to the outer edges of the diaphram. "
