1989 johnson 150 hp double carb question

I just would like to know if there is anything I need to know about taking off the carbs. Is it a simple job? Please explain what I need to look out for.

"They're much simpler than an automotive carburetor. Just take pictures and make notes pertaining to linkages and hose routing etc.

When removing jets, look at the jets and write down the imprinted jet size and their locations.

With the carburetor body held upside down, the float being viewed from the side, adjust the float so that the free end of the float (the end opposite the hinge pin) is ever so slightly higher (just ever so slightly off level) than the other end. And when viewed from the end, make sure it is not cocked.
