as long as I could get leaded gasoline before the did away with it I didn't have any engine troubles, never even fouled out a sparkplug. But since leaded ethanol free gasoline is no longer available I have a lot of fuel problems. I have tried gasoline with 10% ethanol and an additives that are suppose to offset of ethanol. don't start good and foul plugs. a couple of places around here have 90 octane gasoline without ethanol I tried that for a while didn't start good and fouled plugs. I would be happy using the ethanol free 90 octane fuel if I could get spark plugs that would not foul out. I would like to have a solution . I'm sure a lot of you have had this problem. any help appreciated.

What sparkplugs are installed now.-----I don't think the issue is the plugs.----Is oil injection in service or what mix are you using ?-----Thermostats in place and working properly?----Compression test results need to be posted.

I run my 1990 90 hp Johnson on ethanol blend with added seafoam or stabil. It runs fine. It really shouldn't affect your plugs. I would look at your VRO.
