I am new to the forum and could use a little help. I am rebuilding a 1990 Tracker Panfish 16, don't ask me why, and a have a question about the 25 HP motor on it. I had the lower unit rebuilt and reinstalled it on the motor. I was working on another part of the boat and lifted the motor up and locked it in the high position. About a teaspoon of older looking oil dripped out of a small hole on the opposite side of the fill plug. Should this hole be plugged or should it even be there?
When I downloaded the picture I noticed what appears to be another hole below the one that leaked, but nothing came out of it. Should either of these holes even be there?
