"ok, dont have the manual yet, but here is the plan and let me know if I am missing anything.
1. diconnect shift linkage right under the bottom carb, held together by a pin.
2. loosen and remove the main bolts holding the lower unit on, I think 5-6 total including the one that holds the trim tab on.
3. just slide apart and install new impeller, put back together in reverse order.
the main thing is that I have always worked on smaller outboards where the shift linkage disconnects in the lower unit, where this one does in the cowling? right?
