The guage isn't working fo

The guage isn't working for my tilt/trim. The mechanic says it needs a new sending unit. Can someone tell me where this is located? I would like to try to change it myself and save some bucks. Also what part number if possible

"It may simply be stuck. It's located at the top inside portion of the port transom bracket. Just above the electric PTT motor.
