I have 75hp Mariner that has b

I have 75hp Mariner that has been running good till the last trip out. Off the trailer it ran great till we had to through a long no wake area it started to act like it was loading up and wouldnt idle smooth we started fishing in one spot for a few hours when i started it back up she ran fine had dinner and started to head to the loading dock and she started to load up again and was getting smoky out the exhaust. Got home and the plugs were wet I did a compression check which all turned out to be 120 on all three cylinders you could really smell gas. All lines look good I have good spark.
Any suggestion.

"check carbs for flooding, with engine off pump fuel bulb and look down carb throats, any fuel dripping inside of carb is bad.
Check for spark on all cyl's with a timing light. No flash = no spark"
 
i am having a similar problem

i am having a similar problem with my 93 75 hp motor except that my carbs are filling with oil and the oil is going back down the gas line any suggestions?

"Well I bit the bullet and took my boat in to the boat dealer that was owned by the car dealership I used to work at. They found my fuel pump diaprahim bad not all that bad of news I guess it could of been worse. I guess I will have to tell the wife she wont be able to get her nails done for awhile (Right

Well took the boat out too tes

Well took the boat out too test the repairs and the engine ran worse than before I took it to the shop. Same symptoms as before slow speeds and she loads up this time it lost power and hesitated never did that before the repairs. Took it back well see what happens this time around.
