1989 4.3 omc issues starting

Okay. Coil has good spark to cap, points have good
Spark and spark is relaying good to plugs. Carb is rebuilt and pushing good clean fuel
Yet I get minimal to no fire when trying to start. Every now and then
If I bump the key several time real quick it will start and purrs like a kitten.
I consider myself fairly mechanical but this has me totally
Stumped. Any words of wisdom out there? Thanks in advance.

Ayuh,... What Voltage do ya have at the coil's (+) terminal, When the starter is crankin' over the motor,..??

Have ya checked the Timin',..?? dwell,..??

Time and dwell seem good will check volts during cranking
In the morning. Do you know what I should be getting out of coil?

Ayuh,... It should be Full battery voltage at the coil's (+) terminal....
