Hi guys,
No need to jump on me for a 3.7L, I've seen the posts, I understand the issues, boat isn't registered to me
.
With that out of the way, I am working on an 1989 Larson DC-170 with a 3.7L Alpha. Prior owner added the alternator kit (unknown brand etc) and the belts (yes there's 2-3 in the boat) one is a 52" and a 50" both with differing angles of the V. Both are too long and this is a sad thing considering he supposedly bought this upgrade. One would think that he would have had info on it.
I'm aiming for 49" or so, only thing I'm unsure of is which angle to pick up. Anyone have the info on the 89 Mercruiser 3.7 crank or ps pump pulley angle?
Thanks for any info or suggestions
