1989 0mc 302 conversion

I have a 302 omc with a cracke

I have a 302 omc with a cracked block. I just got the boat and i'm not sure about the shape of the out drive. I would like to go to a 350 style motor. what would i need to change for this to happen. If I need to change out the whole drive what would be the best fit. Thanks

"If you have to change out the drive then I would go with a package (engine and stern drive). I would go with the Mercruiser, the Volvo is nice but too pricey. Nothing beats the reliability of the ole workhorse, the Chevy 350."
