I AM THINKING ABOUT BUYING A 1988 115 SUZIKI AND WAS INTERESTED IN OPINIONS OF THIS MOTOR. I THINK ITS AN 88 MODEL( SERIAL # 811589). MOTOR HAS 130# PRESSURE ON ALL CYLINDERS AND RUNS FINE ON THE HOSE.

Hey David Great engine and not a bad year. As with any older engine it may be in need of some TLC. The most comon problems were exhaust tuners and adapters going bad. Exhaust bridge and upper brg hsg located under water pump are areas of concern too. Whats the asking price?
