"Ok Mr Reeves i went out to run that electrical test you gave me and well i didnt because im not sure Tach and all is even wired right.Here is what i have.I have 8 wires at harness where it connects to console.At Ign switch- 1-Pur/white stripe to C(choke)1-blk/yell stripe to W 1 yell/red stripe to S(start) 1-red(batt) to B 1-blk to other W and 1 purple at IGN to fuel guage 1-Grey to Tach. now i have 1 Purple from harness to nothing and 1 Brown from harness to nothing.If i knew color code and all for engine harness at console i think i could wire but the original engine for boat was a Force and none of the wires on the schematic matches the Evinrude.Sure would apreciate some help again,Fishing season is here an Fish are callin me to come play allready!! "your post is a lil confusing,..but,..pull all the force wiring out,and use and color code to the evin harness....dont try to mix and match,and u dont need the force harness,anyway...if u r referring to under dash,same thing..color code,to YOUR engine."
 
Well the colors i listed is fr

Well the colors i listed is from the Evinrude engine.I dont know where to hook the 2 purple wires on ignition switch and dont know where the brown wire goes.Actualy i dont have a wiring diagram for the evinrude so i just picked bits and pieces from Mr reeves test procedure to check what is allready wired.Please Help Hehe!! Im confused with the wiring thats allready in place and it runs so im afraid to change a lot and cause it not to run at all. Thanks RedFishKing!(Rick)

Ok the Evinrude harnes from the engine to the dash consist of 1 Purple wire with white stripe
1 Blk/yell stripe
1 yell/red stripe
1 red
1 blk
1 grey
1 brwn
2 purple
Ignition switch has 6 terminals 1 S - 1C - 1B- 1I- 2W Maybe you can tell me what wires go where?? Thanks Rick!!
