I'll start with this is my first boat and I'm learning. I'm decent mechanically. Got this boat from a friend. We took it out the other day and it was idling rough and an alarm started going off, just a constant beep. Then it went away and ran great, then came back and did the same thing. His mechanic is saying it's a "Water in Fuel" alarm. I've treated the fuel, changed out the 10 micron filter that's been added at some point, and the factory fuel filter. I can't find anywhere online referencing a WIF Sensor, so I'm not convinced it's that. I'm currently taking the carbs off to give them a good cleaning(they were rebuilt 2 or 3 years ago). Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
