" I'm no expert, but here's what I would look into:
When you throttle hard, the butterflies in your carbs open up wide; if there is anything restricting fuel flow, the mixture gets too lean too fast, and you can stall out.
It could be something as simple as an improperly adjusted low speed jet (if they are adjustable), but if it was running correctly, and now it will not, something probably has changed. Reasons for a lack of fule flow could be:
A. clogged carb
B. weak fuel pump (functioning, but failing)
C. clogged filter - in tank, on gas line leading to motor, on fuel pump, after fuel pump, or in carb - if your's has one in the carb
D. leak allowing air to enter gas line when motor is running - cracked hose, filter, or bad connection
E. some other restriction in the fuel line, such as a kink, or junk that has found it's way in and become stuck
I'd start with the easy stuff first - check your lines, fittings, and filters, use the sqeeze bulb to verify that gas is making it up to the connection where the line plugs into the motor. Look for cracked hoses inside the motor, and verify that the fuel is making it to the carbs by disconnecting the line at the carb then pumping the bulb - if this line seems clear, verify the fuel pump is working correctly.
If none of that helps, it's gotta be your carbs - and then it's a matter of either adjusting it a little richer (to possibly account for clogged jets - a bad idea, but might work) or rebuilding your carbs (more work, but a more permanent fix). Hope this helped,
