1988 johnson 175gt eng. looses power high throttle

I am out of ideas. Eng. starts good and idles fine. Throttles up ok for about 45 sec. and looses power don't stall but wont throttle any more. When this happens fuel bulb is not hard but sucked in. Let run a little while will throttle up again with same problem. Fuel lines and bulb all new. Any Ideas Please James

Run with a seperate 6 gallon tank as a test.

Check your fuel pickup tube in the tank it may be stopping up and not drawing enough fuel. Good luck

Thanks will try 6 gal. tank. Access to pickup looks impossible largest hole seen is fuel level senser hole and is about 1 and 1/2 inch across. Thank you James.
