I have a constant alarm (not beeping, solid tone). Went through the process of checking the sensors by unhooking and checking for the tone. It is not the thermostat, but rather the oil sensor. Oddly, the turning the key to on (not engaging the starter) the alarm goes off. It is a constant sound. Everything I have read says that constant tone is not oil issue. Sot of odd.
IS the proper method for bypass to simply block the oil inlet hose and disconnect the alarm wire? By the way the motor runs fine. Oil tank is 2/3 full.
