I'm have difficulty finding a prop that fits my motor. The plate on the motor says it's Model 856A8B and Serial # 1361. Every prop I've purchased had a hub that was too deep, even though seller said they'd work . Every time I enter the above Serial number, I'm told it's not found. Help, anyone know where I can purchase a prop? And what diameter and pitch should I get? Thanks

Unfortunately, it won't work. Last month , I purchased their propeller and it didn't fit. The nut didn't have enough space to put on. I returned it only to be charged a restocking fee. I threw away money.

Try to pick up the nut yourself, maybe you will be able to find a suitable one. After all, judging by your answers, the stores could not help you, although you bought a nut according to the dimensions, it is strange that I have not encountered such a thing in my life.

Did you ever find the right one? I have the same outboard (1988 85HP) and ordered a prop from them and it fit fine. Not sure why yours didnt. Just curious what you ended up doing? I also ordered a solara(Same pitch and size as yours) but the inside edge was rubbing so I took a file and took off a mm or two and its been fine. Wondering if you have an aftermarket prop shaft. Should be plenty of threads to get a nut on with that Michigan prop.
