I need a new tilt tube and ste

I need a new tilt tube and steering arm for my motor anyone know around about price for the parts and labor?I have been quoted 1100.00-1200.00 for the work.I looked on here for the parts but I am not sure which model to select (150 ee???)?

"The model number should be on a plate on the port transom bracket, OR on a heavy duty decal at the top of the swivel bracket that the engine turns within, OR possibly on a core plug (looks like a small quarter size freeze out plug) on the powerhead. Is that model number nowhere in these locations?"

I have not looked there but the ID# is R08277887
I was trying to get or see if someone could tell me on the BRP web site which model to use? They have several to choose from and I have no idea which one to use so I can find parts.
 
Another question I am mechanic

Another question I am mechanically inclined could I replace the steering arm and tilt tube in my driveway or do you have to remove the engine from the boat? I can rent an engine hoist but how hard is it to replace the steering arm?
 
Disconnect electricsl cables a

Disconnect electricsl cables and control cables etc from the engine. Remove the lower unit which is necessary to have the shift rod out of the way. Support the engine with a hoist. Remove the top and bottom motor mount bolts. Slide the engine back and away from the swivel bracket/transom bracket assembly. Remove the large nut that you'll see on the bottom of the steering arm tube. Slide the steeering arm assembly upwards and out.
