Hello. I'm sure this has been discussed a million times but I am in need of some opinions. I am looking at buying a boat with a 1987 Yamaha 90 hp precision blend. I am supposed to go look at the boat this weekend. The only thing I am worried about is that the guy told me the engine runs great but he bypassed the oil injection system and now pre mixes because he didnt feel it was reliable enough for him. He said I could easily hook it back up. I am not familiar with yamaha's oil injection but I haven't heard anything bad about it and I would like to run it if i got the boat. What is your opion? Steer clear of the whole thing? Rin pre mix or hook the system back up?
