Have a 1987 3.0 seadrive on a 230c sea ox that runs great. Bought the set up mainly for the boat. The The oil cooler for the power steering has gone up,split and leaks. Looking at eliminating the whole system, keep things simple. Has anyone had experience with removing the system. I was thinking I will have to put a bypass on the main teleflex ram,so pressure can be relieved for the ram to work in both directions, and route the water line into the overflow/bypass. The main question I have is what to do with the small fitting in the exhaust housing. I think this was to drain the cooler whern the engine fully rasied. Saw a thread on the seadrive where "racerone" and 'Boobie" relpied with good info. hopefully you will see this thread. Thanks
