1987 Mariner 60 HP wiring harness

"I am rebuilding an '87 ba

"I am rebuilding an '87 bass tracker pontoon and when I bought it there was no console and now that I have finished putting together the new console I have no idea what wires go where. There are 3 harness' coming out of the motor. One of them has an old rusted out horn/buzzer on it and about 12 wires. The other 2 only have 3 wires each. I am only going to hook up the key switch with push to choke, the kill switch, and a tach. Can anyone help with what all of these wires go to. The serial number is "OB188493"

"Monte, I can throw up a picture of what goes where on the control (from the motor harness), but need to know if you have power trim/tilt, just power tilt, or just electric start (and you tilt the motor manually) - the diagrams are different - also have the wiring codes for the key switch...

It has Tilt & Trim. I am also confused as to what the 2 3 wire harness' would go to. I threw away the old VRO tank and can't look at it to see if any of the wires may have gone to it. oops...

"I think with the picture from Graham and the link from JB, I might actually be able to figure this out. I already determined that 1 of the 3 wire harness' is for the tilt & trim. That only leaves one 3 wire harness with black, brown, and purple wires in it..."

('87+ Commander 2000 12 wire with intergral trim/temp gauge circuit's)
Red=power
Black=Ground (5 pin)
Purple=Key on Positive (5pin)
Yellow/Red=Start
Red/Yellow=Choke
Black/Yellow=Stop/Kill >>>(ground to stop)<<<
Grey=Tach gauge driver (5 pin)
Tan/Blue=Buzzer driver(heat/oil alarm) (5 pin)
Brown/white=Trim Gauge driver (5 pin)
Green=Trim Up
Blue=Trim down
Solid tan=Temp gauge driver (bullet lead)

'86 and eariler 8 wire.
Tan/Blue=could have either alarm or gauge driver. Depends on the engine.
Brown/White and Tan/Blue external leads were added later for those gauges as needed.
P/T harness is also seperate.
