1987 mariner 35 carb issues

After installing the two carbs install started the engine ... it started but maxed out rpm's. I checked installation, carbs were installed properly. But, on the top carb, the linkage that moves the butterfly is not connenected to anything. I looked everywhere but the is no indication of a link. Where can I get a manual or a youtube video showing how to COMPLETELY connect the carbs. There .Just be some sort of linkage that moves the linkage from the throttle. Does anyone have any ideas?

Do you have a serial number?

I think it's B139243. Best I could do .. Last couple of numbers were worn.

Actually it's supposed to be a 50 hp 2 cylinder. But when you check the serial numbers it shows to be different. I bought it as a50 hp so I assume it should be

Where do I find a diagram that shows all the carb linkage? I need to know where the throttle connects to the carb
