1987 Johnson 20HP prop seal dribbling

I have a 1987 Johnson 20HP outboard and a bead of oil is starting to leak from behind the prop.
Is it dangerous to continue to use and if so how complicated is it to remove and replace the prop seal?

Your local shop can pressure test your lower unit for leaks.-------Any water getting in the gear oil ?-----A bit of oil around the prop area is normal.-----The oil that is mixed with the gas has to go somewhere !----Not all of it leaves as " blue smoke " on these motors.

thanks for the quick reply. That is what I was told but I havent run it in a week and the oil keeps showing back up after I wipe it off the tail. Its just a line of black oil but I hadnt seen it before

I agree. I just checked the gear oil and it was full so thanks for your input. puts me at ease.
