1987 johnson 150gt power pack

hello like to know if any one can tell me how to test a power pack on 1987 150 gt johnson .
belive where my problem is when i first start motor doesnt have any power till worms up bout 5 to 10 mins somtimes going out no wake likes to buck . like firing on 3-4 clylders then rest kick in .any help would be great ty.

you will need a DVA adapter for your multimeter to test your powerpack. You can go to http://www.cdielectronics.com/Support.aspx
and it will give you procedures. Make sure you have good battery connections and power pack ground is clean. I started having that problem
on and off to no spark here and there and it was my power pack starting to fail. I installed a new one and runs like new.
